My interest in early American parlor guitars has led me back to their beginnings - as highly evolved and sophisticated instruments with their roots in northern Europe. These guitars migrated to our young nation and were interpreted by the genius of C.F. Martin (1796-1873).
I have painstakingly recreated two of these guitars with special historical significance and rare beauty. They have all the charm of the originals but are designed for a discriminating modern player: vibrant, musically satisfying, and as exciting to play as they were 170 years ago.
